Hazelwood Stables is a horse training and management business with a superb 70 acres of undulating hills 2000 feet above sea level and only 45 minutes from the Gold Coast, 1 hour and 15 mins from Brisbane and 25 minutes from Canungra, high in the Hinterland on the rare and exclusive Beechmont plateau, nestled between the pristine natural wonder of the Lamington National Park on one side of the lush pastures and views out to the Pacific Ocean on the other. The Hazelwood Stables horses enjoy the highest quality natural spring drinking water direct from the volcanic rock abundant in natural vitamins and minerals whilst grazing on improved pastures.

This location was strategically chosen after years of dedicated search to achieve a healthier climate which is far more temperate to that of SE QLD and adjacent to the un-spoilt natural wonder that is Lamington National park with cool climates and lower humidity readings along with the abundant natural spring water provides horses with a unique, relaxed and calming environment.

Horses are provided with an environment which helps them relax build and maintain muscle but also an environment that without question will help develop speed, courage, mental and physical stamina.

Hazelwood Stables has a central laneway and private road which provides safe and easy access to all paddocks and allows movement of young and old horses alike to be carried out with the greatest of ease.
